We are looking to add a motivated and results-driven go getter to our dynamic team! In this Inside Sales Representative role, you would be the driving force behind converting customer inquiries into successful sales. From delivering accurate pricing and delivery details to actively seeking out new sales opportunities, you'll be the go-to person for our customers' needs. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to truly understand our customers will help forge lasting relationships and provide tailored solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Respond to customer inquiries, assessing material availability and conformity to customer requirements.
- Initiate calls to current/potential customers, either to secure stock purchases or follow up on quoted business opportunities.
- Coordinate sales order processing and provide sales activity reports.
- Quote prices, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
- Understand and provide operational feedback to customers.
- Keep management informed of pertinent business issues.
- Handle customer calls related to complaints and recommended solutions.
- Manage consignment inventory.
- Serve as a technical and market resource, counseling and advising customers.
- Utilize creative and innovative sales techniques to boost sales volume.
- Cultivate strong product and market knowledge, as well as understanding the customer's business and material end-use.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, customer programs, strategies, goals, and competitor activities.
- Engage in training opportunities to enhance competencies, skills, sales, and customer service techniques to meet company training standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in business or related discipline preferred or three year’s work experience.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Organized and able to multitask.
- Familiarity with the metals industry/oil and gas industry a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
