Job Title: Sales Manager - Flooring Industry

As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a talented Sales Manager to lead our team of Field Sales Consultants.
Position Overview: As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will oversee a team of Field Sales Consultants who engage in both inside and outside sales activities, catering to B2B clients. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for managing the routes of the Field Sales Consultants, and monitoring the accounts they handle, and evaluating the outcomes of their field visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of Field Sales Consultants to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate B2B markets.
Provide guidance and support to Field Sales Consultants in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Monitor and assess the performance of Field Sales Consultants, providing regular feedback and coaching to enhance their sales effectiveness.
Collaborate with the VP of Sales to develop sales forecasts, budgets, and action plans to drive revenue growth.
Conduct regular meetings with the sales team to review progress, share best practices, and address any challenges or issues.
Foster strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion and improvement.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales management within the flooring industry or related field.
Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving targets in the B2B environment.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends to make informed decisions.
Results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
