About the Opportunity
As Taymor continues to expand and achieve sales penetration across the United States, the company recognizes the importance of creating and developing strategic relationships in new, high-potential, growing markets. Based on the volume of residential and multifamily projects, interest in Taymor products, and initial sales revenue in the Southeast Region, Taymor has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to pioneer this growth. Operating out of Florida (Miami, Ft. - Drive specification of our strategic products, through development of strong consultative relationships with multi-family developers and their project partners influencing the specifications – including interior designers, architects, general contractors and distributors.
- Generate and manage relationships with targeted multi-family distributor accounts and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction to drive flip spec opportunities while ensuring our project specifications are supported and held.
- Create and maintain contact and nurture ecosystem influencers and decision makers through deliberate and personalized interactions, such as annual review meetings, new product introductions and sneak peaks, etc. and providing a high level of service creating a network of referrals to new customers and projects.
- Research, contact, quantify and qualify multi-family developer prospects fitting our target customer profile.
- Capturing insights on customers, projects, and competitors using our CRM
- Perform site visits and product inspections as required to support QA and be the face of Taymor in the territory.
About You
To qualify, you will need 5 years of experience in a direct Business-to-Business (B2B) sales role, with proven track record in major account selling and be located in one of our target cities if Florida (Miami, Tampa, Ft Lauderdale or Orlando).
We are looking for individuals who follow effective sales strategies that are both persuasive and emphatic, by actively listening to the customers to assess the situation quickly. You are effortless in gaining insights on pain points that you can present solutions to.

- Understanding outside / field sales environment
- Comprehending relevant market trends within your territory
