Wick Buildings is a leader in the post-frame building business. We seek a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team in Kansas City Kansas City area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and implementing business strategies by developing current independent Authorized Wick Buildings and recruiting new builders throughout the territory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business partners who meet the criteria set by Wick.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders and internal staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business plans.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity.
- Establish accurate sales projections.
- Work with builders to develop effective marketing and business plans by leveraging tools and resources offered by Wick.
Requirements:
- Experience in business development or related field in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing business strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to master and teach internal software.
- Excellent driving record and ability to travel overnight throughout the territory.
