We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Sales Representative to help us expand our customer base and reseller partnerships, drive sales growth, and make a lasting impact in the green energy industry.
Job Summary: As the Business Development Sales Representative, you’ll be a key driver of AEI’s growth, identifying and securing new business opportunities, establishing reseller relationships, and expanding AEI’s footprint in the green energy space. You’ll work closely with the marketing and technical teams to offer tailored solutions and ensure our clients and partners see the full value of AEI’s innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and target new customer segments, businesses, and strategic partnerships in line with AEI’s growth objectives.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, nurturing leads and converting them into long-term partnerships.
- Partnership Development: Establish and manage relationships with potential resellers and distributors, negotiating contracts, terms, and partnership agreements.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape; provide insights to the product and marketing teams.
- Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of AEI’s battery storage systems, energy solutions, and fast-track charging technology to effectively educate and engage potential clients.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with AEI leadership to refine sales strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Reporting : Maintain detailed records, track key metrics, and report on progress toward sales goals and partnership growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years in business development or B2B sales, ideally within the energy, technology, or sustainable solutions industry.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record in prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals with business clients and partners.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish trust, build rapport, and maintain relationships.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical products in an accessible way.
- Self-Motivated: Driven and proactive with the ability to work independently and hit ambitious sales targets.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and convey technical information about AEI’s product offerings.
- Adaptable: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot based on evolving market demands.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Green Energy Knowledge: Familiarity with battery storage, renewable energy solutions, emergency power, and generators is a plus.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to identify and leverage strategic opportunities for business growth.
