Position Overview:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced exterior siding and roofing sales professional to join our team as a key driver of revenue growth. In this role, you will be critical in working with company-provided leads and increasing sales by identifying new business opportunities, building lasting relationships with homeowners, and closing deals. Your expertise in residential roofing and siding will allow you to provide tailored solutions to clients, while your strong sales skills will help achieve and exceed revenue targets. As a key team member, you will work closely with both the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoff and customer satisfaction, contributing directly to the company’s growth and success with uncapped income opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Run assigned appointments with potential customers
- Inspect the property for potential damage
- Take necessary measurements to be able to accurately estimate project cost
- Keep up to date with product offerings and installation methods
- Create renderings of exterior projects to aid customers in their selections.
- Accurately communicate the scope of work to the production team
- Collect siding and roofing samples from client houses when needed for identification and matching purposes
- Meet on-site with insurance adjusters
- Follow up with potential clients to close the sale
- Collect down payment checks from clients and turn in to home office staff.
- Actively seek self-generated lead opportunities
- Maintain a 30% close rate
- Follow up with customers to procure referrals and reviews
- Attend all sales meetings set by the sales manager
Key Qualifications:
- Proven organizational skills, including time management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong networking ability, hunter mentality to generate own leads above what is provided by the company
- Ability to work efficiently in multiple computer applications
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Self-starter with the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail
- Two (+) years of experience selling exterior products
- Knowledge of exterior building products, installation methods, and code
- Advanced knowledge of the insurance process and how to assess damage in storm areas
- Maintain Hubspot/CRM/Tech stack daily
- Average of 100K in monthly sales throughout the year
- Strong ability to ask for business and close deals with potential clients
- Ability to drive up to 50 miles around the greater metropolitan area
