About the Role
- Candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and be able to work onsite in our South San Francisco office.
- Candidate must be able to drive to and meet in person with customers within the San Francisco Bay Area.
- This is a contract role with potential for full time employment.
We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative with an entrepreneurial spirit and environmental sustainability mindset who shares a passion for wanting to make a difference in the world. As an Outside Sales Representative you will be responsible for meeting with and educating pharmacists about our mission and products in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will identify, develop and close new sales opportunities with independent pharmacies, hospital pharmacies and health system pharmacies in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This role is ideal for someone who is outgoing and motivated to make a difference by facilitating in person conversations about environmental sustainability and is looking for a role outside the traditional office setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Work onsite from office and warehouse located in South San Francisco.
- Meet in person with pharmacists to provide samples and educational material at target accounts across the San Francisco Bay Area including the North Bay, Peninsula, South Bay and East Bay.
- Follow-up on marketing lead generation campaigns including email campaigns, physical and lead lists to identify and develop sales opportunities through outbound phone calls, email and onsite visits.
- Educate prospective customers about Pillumina’s product and value proposition.
- Track and maintain all sales related activities including call, emails and meetings as well as opportunity management in HubSpot CRM system.
- Work with Pillumina leadership to provide status on sales activities and progress.
- Close sales opportunities and generate new business revenue.
We’re looking for
- Energetic, passionate and environmentally minded individual who is motivated to make a difference by facilitating educational conversations about environmental sustainability, the impact of plastic, and our solution.
- Outgoing demeanor with excellent communication skills including in-person and phone professional presence, active listening, and a clear, concise writing style.
- Ability to work independently, but regularly communicates with Pillumina leadership for updates, feedback and direction.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving report and reliable car to make onsite visits to target customers.
- Prior experience working with Google Workspace (GMail, GSheets, GDocs, Slides)
- Experience with CRM systems such as Hubspot or similar system is preferred.
Job Type: Full or Part-time Contract
Expected hours: 25-40 hours per week
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour + Commissions
