Join Our Team as a Business Development Manager - Part-Time to Full-Time
Seeking a growth-oriented individual with strong communication skills to drive sales growth in NYC and the metropolitan area. Previous sustainability sales experience is preferred but not required.
About Us: Geatain provides funding and engineering solutions for building energy improvement projects, reducing energy consumption in existing NYC buildings. Join a team of industry leaders driven by innovation, influencing the way buildings are operated and designed.
Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Salesperson with NYC sales experience to re-engage previous clients, sign new prospects and nurture existing relationships. Leverage our ongoing marketing efforts to engage with interested prospects and meet compliance deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building
- Consultation on energy solutions (heating, air conditioning, lighting)
- Follow-up for repeat business
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of proven NYC sales experience
- Eagerness to learn about energy savings and funding programs
- Track record of exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in CRM software and latest sales tools
- Strong communication skills
- Reside within 45 miles of Manhattan

This is a part-time position with full-time potential for the right candidate.
Full-time responsibilities:
· Managing: Guide firm marketing and sales efforts.
· Planning: Develop and execute sales plan focused on growing revenue targets.
· Lead Generation: Identify and prioritize market segments to uncover hidden growth areas throughout mid-Atlantic states.
· Leadership: Direct sales team to professional growth goals and help them achieve sales targets.
· Cold Calling: Reach out to new prospects to understand their business, uncover concealed needs and grow the client pool.
