Job Description
- Introduce and Promote Western’s Volume Program Door Systems to Local Single-Family Builder across Arizona.
- Work with Divisional Purchasing Teams to assess their needs and provide VE solutions around Western standardized door sizes.
- Support existing Western Preferred Vendor Builder Relationships.
- Develop new business opportunities through cold calls and lead generation.
- Meet or exceed the sales and margin expectations for the assigned territory.
- Support the Director of Production Builder Sales in collaborative sales efforts
- Perform window and door bids including Scopes, Specifications, and Bid forms to ensure that the appropriate product is quoted.
- Create takeoffs for windows and doors from floorplans with additional reviews of elevation pages ensuring all factors are taken into consideration.
- Coordinate with the inside sales team all quoting and ordering of products.
- Create accurate window and door quotes using available quoting software(s).
- Using provided costing and multipliers to create itemized bids per house plan.
- Completion of all requested documents including bid pricing forms, scopes, etc., which would then be submitted to the builder via their preferred method (email, custom website, DropBox, etc.)
- Revise based on changes made per the builder.
- Revise to correct mistakes made during the original bid.
- Communicate with the builder to request contracted pricing updates based on changes made to the master quotes.
- Secure Sales Purchase Orders and retrieve payment with Lien Waiver Release when necessary
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, MS Office and Excel required.
- Experience with BlueBeam Estimating software a plus.
- Experience with BuildPro/SupplyPro Scheduling software a plus.
- Strong communication, writing and reading comprehension skills required. Will communicate extensively through email to other Western internal & external employees and entire dealer base.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 2 + Years of Sales Experience Preferably in the Window and Door industry
- High School diploma or GED
- Trade School or other certification a plus
- College Degree - not required but a plus
- Knowledge of Building Code Requirements
- Knowledge of window and/or door product lines a plus
- Strong writing and reading comprehension skills required.
