About the Role

As our Founding Developer Relations Lead, you will play a key role in building and nurturing our developer community. Acting as a bridge between our platform and developer users, you’ll work closely with the founders to drive adoption, collect feedback, and create technical content. You’ll be a visible presence in the developer community, delivering insights that shape our product's direction and success.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement: Actively engage with the developer community across Discord, Twitter, forums, and other channels, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
Content Creation: Produce engaging content (blogs, tutorials, videos) that communicates complex technical concepts in a developer-friendly way.
Product Evangelism: Represent Retell AI at industry events, conferences, and meetups, showcasing our platform’s capabilities.
Data-Driven Insights: Use community feedback and data to inform strategies and measure the success of engagement initiatives.
Internal Collaboration: Work with product, marketing, and engineering teams to relay developer feedback and align community needs with product enhancements.

Qualifications

Experience: 4+ years in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or similar technical roles with community engagement.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and explain platform features, translating them into developer-centric content.
Startup Savvy: Adaptable to a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with strong problem-solving skills.
Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal skills, with a knack for simplifying complex concepts.
Community Management: Experience fostering communities on platforms like Discord and Twitter.
Curious Mindset: Passionate about new technologies with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.

Nice-to-Haves:

Degree in a technical field (CS, Engineering, Math)
B2B or developer-focused experience
Experience creating technical content for developer engagement
