Igenomix, company part of Vitrolife Group, is a global leader in reproductive genetic testing. We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Business Development Manager (BDM) to expand and develop new opportunities in the assigned territory: NortheastCoast and specific accounts (remote). Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach and strengthens client relationships. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.

Objective of this role

  • Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings.
  • Maintain positive professional relationships with clients.
  • Use financial techniques to improve sales revenue.
  • Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met.
  • Map industry trends and challenges.
  • Cross-train sales professionals and help improve their skills.

  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions.
  • Promote the company’s services to prospective clients.
  • Responsible for sustainable revenue growth respecting company’s price guidelines and margins.
  • Conduct due diligence to identify new business opportunities in existing and future market territories.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan to enrich existing relationships and network for referrals.
  • Build and promote long lasting client relationships through effective fact finding and solution delivery.
  • Be an individual contributor and implement all necessary processes and manage pipelines to reach targets.
  • Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders.
  • When applicable, coordinate supervise and train back-office team. Providing clear written and verbal instructions to group members and promptly addressing any questions or concerns. Planning activities and delegating tasks. Clearly outlining goals and ensuring group members understand what is expected of them.

Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Successful experience in sales and business development for genetic services.
  • Network and client relationships in the IVF, REI (Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility) and embryology fields are ideal.
  • Effectively communicate, present, and work at all levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to autonomously drive the sales process from plan start to delivery.
  • Strong business sense and industry ability (genetic service and/or reproductive medicine, IVF).
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, strategic thinking, and close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with tact and finesse.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize a fluctuating workload flow.
  • Experience and ability to use CRM platforms. Sales Force is ideal.
  • In and out of State travel is required.
