Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced individual in Seattle to join their team as a Business Development - Sales Consultant for a reputable Moving and Storage company.

As a Business Development - Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in improving the companys market position and achieving financial growth. This person is to work with the internal team, marketing staff, and managers to increase sales opportunities, increasing revenue for the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate cost estimates to potential clients for relocation and storage services for individuals planning to move locally, nationally, or internationally.
  • Actively pursuing and following through on new and existing leads to generate more business and higher closing ratios.
  • Prospect, establish and maintain relationships with customers to create opportunities for future and sustainable business.
  • Provide support to customers who have already scheduled their move.
  • Uphold the companys standards for excellence and commitment to service in the interest of maintaining client satisfaction and an impeccable reputation.
  • Perform follow-ups with leads on pending estimates and other opportunities regularly.
  • Coordinate closely with customers and internal staff to ensure the jobs booked are appropriately serviced.
  • Develop new marketing ideas and assist in developing and implementing sales and/or marketing plans to increase the companys presence.
  • Find Value Ads for Real Estate agents and logistics Partners.
  • Actively participate in Networking events
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Industry experience of 3 + years in business development in product or service sales (industry experience could be considered in lieu of a college degree).
  • Must have moving experience in the moving industry.
  • Must work well with the team: Balances team and individual responsibilities; contributes to building a positive team spirit and culture. Places a high value of Team success over own interests.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills are a must.
  • Qualified applicants must pass a background check.
  • Ability to follow our companys safety regulations.
  • Must adhere to company upkeep and company standards.
