SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:We are looking for a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and exceptional leadership skills. In this role, you will play a crucial role in driving our pricing strategy and optimizing profitability across our product lines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize profitability across all product lines
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify pricing opportunities and risks
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and recommend pricing adjustments based on market conditions and company goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, and finance to gather insights and align pricing strategies with overall business objectives
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in pricing strategy to ensure PCC Logistics remains a leader in the Logistics industry
- Lead and mentor a team of pricing analysts, providing guidance and support in developing pricing models and executing pricing initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to drive successful pricing strategies
- Monitor and report on pricing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations
- Develop and maintain pricing policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all product lines
- Continuously evaluate and improve pricing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Develop a Food Safety Program
- Provide and document food safety training for Warehouse staff
- Develop good working relationships with FDA, USDA, and state and local governmental agencies
- Oversee accuracy of receiving product into the warehouse and resolve discrepancies
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties
