Urban Forestry Service Corps Assistant (Public Service Assistant II)

Description

The Community Services Department is recruiting for Urban Forestry Service Corps Assistants (Public Service Assistant II).

These positions are full-time temporary, starting February 3, 2025, and ending June 27, 2025. These positions work five days a week in small cohorts completing a combination of in-class learning and in-the-field service projects.

Examples of Duties

• Learn and study a variety of topics related to urban forestry, public greenspace, and
  sustainability.
• Work within cohorts to complete urban forestry service projects in local Fremont
  neighborhoods.
• Ensure safety and high quality of work.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
