Job Description

Gregg Distributors LP is a well established and growing industrial supplies company that has been serving Western Canadians for over 56 years.

We are looking to grow our Inside Sales team at our Nanaimo B.C. location.

Successful candidates will be hands-on individuals who have a passion for customer service, sales and aren't afraid of physical work.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify customers’ needs and recommend valuable products
  • Sell Industrial/MRO products
  • Answer customer inquiries and advise on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts
  • Maintain a large territory of existing industrial customers
  • Adhere to company safety policies

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Capable of maintaining a professional image and enhancing customer relationships
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely manner

Front counter experience within an industrial industry is not necessary but is considered a definite asset.
