POSITION SUMMARY
Blue Fern Development is looking to hire a full-time Inside Sales Representative who will source new property development opportunities by converting database leads into deals. This role is heavily reliant on prospect outreach and engagement and requires a motivated individual who is skilled at building rapport while maintaining a focused attention to detail. With one-on-one training and collaboration with our Acquisitions Team, this position provides an excellent growth track incentivized by performance-based bonus opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with property owners across a wide number of jurisdictions via multiple marketing strategies, including calls, emails, and postal mail.
- Identify and classify potential property development opportunities based on deal criteria such as municipal zoning codes and site geography, as well as lead criteria, such as level of interest, motivation, and ability to sell.
- Guide leads through the process of real estate transactions, including making offers, negotiating contracts, and closing on properties.
- Stay updated on current real estate market trends.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in a CRM database.
- Efficiently handle phone calls with appropriate tonality and knowledge.
- Work directly with the Acquisitions Manager and Acquisitions Analyst to articulate lead motivation and deal feasibility to seamlessly convert leads to deals.
- Provide prompt and consistent follow-up with prospects and team members.
- Track monthly and quarterly performance and sales key metrics within a CRM database to ensure goals are met.
- Proactively improve performance through coaching and feedback provided by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional telephone skills
- Track record of sales success
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret real estate data and key indicators.
- Proficient in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task to talk with prospects over the phone while navigating the CRM database and conducting research via multiple systems.
- Flexible and highly organized to handle multiple leads with prompt, consistent follow-up methods.
- Experience with HubSpot (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION:
· Compensation depends on qualifications and experience. The position is estimated to require 40 hours of work per week.
