Job Description: As a Business Development Manager in the roofing industry, you will play an important role in identifying and capturing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving growth for our company. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to expand our customer base and increase revenue. This position requires a combination of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential markets, customers, and opportunities for business growth in the roofing industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Generate leads and actively pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other sales strategies.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify key trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement targeted campaigns to generate leads and promote our roofing services.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Coordinate with project managers and operations teams to ensure smooth project implementation and client satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide accurate and relevant information to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the roofing industry.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, systems, and installation processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
