Cabinet Installation Subcontractors
Tampa Flooring Gallery has served residential and commercial flooring clients in our area since 1998. Now we have expanded into the kitchen, bath and outdoor cabinet segment with Gallery Kitchen, Bath and Outdoor. We are currently searching for an experienced, detail-oriented cabinet Installation subcontractor to work alongside our team by assisting in managing current and future business in Tampa and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize and manage cabinet and countertop projects from field measure to final turnover. This candidate will have very strong project management and communication skills. This candidate will have the ability to assist the team with remote sales and be our representative in the field. They will be skilled in written/verbal communication and time management. The candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work individually and as part of our team. This candidate will have the skill set and ability to execute installation as needed, as well as lead employees or subcontractors to get projects done to the highest standards.
Gallery Kitchen, Bath and Outdoor installs RTA cabinets for single and multi-family projects utilizing our own sales team and your subcontracted installers. We also sell and install commercial cabinetry and countertops. The main duty of this candidate will be to field measure and take detailed assessments to assist with project design, estimating, sales, and scheduling (communicating and coordinating with clients, employees, subcontractors, delivery personnel, etc.).
Cabinet Specialist Subcontractor Tasks:
- Coordinate with clients (contractors, property managers, residents) to field measure and make detailed assessment and or/draw detailed cabinetry and countertop layouts.
- Work with our internal sales team to make sure each project gets estimated, designed, sold, and executed.
- Work with our sales team in creating orders from cabinet layouts.
- Perform service call assessments and repairs as needed.
- Solve problems with project cost and schedule in mind.
- Assist Managers with fielding installation issues, delivery schedules, inventory studies and projections, etc.
Minimum Cabinet Specialist Subcontractor Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
- 5+ Years of experience in cabinet and countertop field.
- 1+ Years of experience in management role for cabinet installation company.
- 1+ Years of experience in sales representative role.
- Advanced organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
- Advanced multi-tasking skills.
- Problem solving.
- Ability to think outside of the box and modify processes to reduce errors and improve upon project schedules and budgets.
- Use of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook (email & calendar), Project, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to effectively type
- Clean Driving Record
Additional Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Field measure for cabinets & countertops based on existing layouts and new construction.
- Creation of designs and/or submittals utilizing MS Word and Adobe Acrobat.
- 2020 Design Software is a plus
- AutoCAD is also a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
