Position Summary: The Business Development Specialist will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our company. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to increase market share within the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Healthcare Client Acquisition: Develop strategic and tactical plans to prospect, identify, and sign new clients through various channels such as phone calls, email, text, social media.
- Deliver Effective Presentations: Present our tailored solutions over the phone, virtual meetings, and in person using our technology and slide decks.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders of healthcare systems, hospitals, post-acute facilities, and single or multi-specialty provider groups. hospital administrators, HR departments, and other key decision-makers. Ensure client satisfaction and retention through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Subject Matter Expert: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to guide strategic planning and decision-making.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present effective proposals and presentations to prospective customers. Complete RFP’s and RFI’s, negotiate contracts and terms of agreements to win new business deals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure that client needs are met with qualified and reliable healthcare professionals. Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities. Monitor progress against targets and adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, or recruiting within the healthcare staffing industry.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly hospital staffing and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Tech-Savvy you use technology to generate prospects and you use creativity to make connections with key decision makers and influencers.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Superior communication skills allowing you to connect with people and build strong relationships over the phone, text and email
