As an entry-level Business Development Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering account growth, driving revenue, and paving the path for regional and national expansion. You'll be the go-to-market and account expert for client executives and internal sales teams. Your expertise will guide each sales experience, cultivating enduring relationships and ensuring a seamless customer process.
Responsibilities for our Business Development Representative:
- Proactively expand the consumer base through relationship-building initiatives.
- Represent the brand, ensuring positive customer experiences at every touchpoint.
- Utilize entry-level Business Development Representative training on sales, customer service, client expectations, and business metrics to generate new opportunities for the client successfully.
- Manage follow-ups, order entries, and generate quotes efficiently.
- Engage new potential accounts and address customer inquiries promptly.
- Collect information about local community preferences through direct consumer communication regarding their experience with the industry.
- Regularly collaborate with the Director, Chief of Staff, and other Business Development Representatives to review metrics, sales goals, and ensure that client expectations are being met.
Business Development Representative Requirements:
- 1+ years experience in customer service, sales, management, retail, or client-facing roles.
- A Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, or Communications is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Ability to properly communicate the benefits and elements of client services during sales and customer service, given the proper training.
- Exceptional negotiation, listening, and communication skills.
- Reliability in time management and completion of entry-level Business Development Representative duties regarding sales, consumer engagement, and service expectations.
