Job Summary:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be pivotal in driving our firm's growth by identifying new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with potential and existing clients. Your strategic approach and deep understanding of the accounting and financial services market will enable us to expand our reach and enhance our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and viable income streams.
- Arrange meetings with prospective clients to present our accounting services and understand their financial needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment on business development strategies and the firm’s branding efforts.
- Maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, potential clients, and business partners.
- Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and seminars to foster industry relationships and stay current with market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven track record with at least 1 year of experience in business development, preferably in the accounting, finance, or professional services sector.
- Strong understanding of the accounting and financial services industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
