Role Description

This is a hybrid contract role as a Brand Representative at Popzup Popcorn. The Brand Representative will be responsible for promoting brand awareness, providing excellent customer service, representing the brand as an ambassador, and communicating effectively with customers.

In this role, you will serve as the face of our brand, engaging with customers and promoting our products through various channels. Your primary focus will be to enhance brand awareness, drive sales, and provide exceptional customer service. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable in public settings, communicating with customers on the phone, and has a passion for connecting with people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run marketing events (including sampling, selling, and business development events) in the local community to spread brand awareness and drive sales.
• Events include farmers markets, festivals, expos, and trade shows.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate potential customers about features and benefits.
• Assist in business development by calling potential customers, maintaining accurate and organized sales sheets, and sending follow-up emails to nurture leads and support ongoing campaigns.
• Regular local and occasional overnight travel will be required.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly.
• Support sales efforts by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products.
• Maintain a positive brand image while fostering an inclusive environment that discourages stigmatization.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in event management.
• Event marketing and customer service experience
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Must be willing to work occasional weeknights and weekends
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds (event setup)
• Must have a valid drivers license

• Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
• Experience as a Brand Ambassador and building Brand Awareness
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Ability to engage with customers effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices is beneficial

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
