  • Hybrid role with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our downtown Orlando office.

Compensation

  • $40k to $50k base annual salary + uncapped monthly commission

Role overview & responsibilities

Reporting to the Logistics Account Manager, the Logistics Account Representative is responsible for executing freight and delivering best-in-class customer experience for key accounts. They develop deep customer relationships and actively advise clients on strategies or new offerings to generate profitable growth. As a subject-matter expert on the daily operations and needs of assigned accounts, they source, price, and execute all freight opportunities for those accounts.

  • Develop and maintain strong customer and carrier relationships.
  • Be knowledgeable of all current service offerings and be able to communicate them to existing customers.
  • Participate in bid opportunities, both tactical and strategic (RFP process).
  • Negotiate pricing with both customers and carriers to generate profitable business opportunities.
  • Execute all daily freight opportunities for assigned accounts or territories.
  • Utilize market intelligence tools to advise clients and meet their daily transportation needs.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute shipments in Transportation Management System.
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
  • Proactively communicate and solve service issues to internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll need

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, 3PL Sales, operations, or account management.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Associate degree in transportation, logistics, or business preferred.
  • Any combination of education and experience will be considered.
