What We Need:

Obagi is seeking a charismatic, self-motivated, and energetic Inside Sales Representative to join our small but mighty Inside Sales team. This new Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience to existing loyal accounts and play an active role in generating new leads through various channels across the designated territory. A “can do” attitude and strong communication skills are key to the success of this role, acquisition of new business, and meeting/exceeding target sales goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop a reoccurring outbound call plan for specific Physician and other practice channels with an emphasis on increased revenue of existing/defined consumer products.
  • Generate new leads from cold and existing contacts available in sales database.
  • Source new prospects and qualifying leads to align with target sales goals (quarterly).
  • Maintain timely and accurate records for all customer accounts, reports, and all active or sample orders.
  • Participate in detailed training with the goal of mastery of all existing products, features, benefits and new product launches.
  • Partner with Field Professional Sales Consultants within respective territories on lead generation, customer follow up, and orders.
  • Create rapport with established customers and practices to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Guide, respond, and help resolve any current or new account issues received via all communication channels regarding:
    • Product information and sample requests; ordering and order status; account information; new account applications; product quality and medical complaints; patient assistance program; RMA and credit requests; promotions and events; corporate functions
  • Other projects as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • A high school diploma is required; bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a focus in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Life Sciences, highly preferred.
  • Prior experience with direct B2B sales and OTC/Rx skincare industry highly preferred but not required.
  • Proven track record of sales success and exceeding target sales goals.
  • Experience in developing business plans, managing budgets, and working with multiple business groups.
  • Comfortable maintaining existing relationships and creating new relationships with customers, with emphasized care around healthcare professionals.
  • Confidence formulating and delivering a sales pitch and new product features/updates.
  • Effective communication skills that can be tailored to all levels, both positive and negative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technologies.
  • Possess an energetic, positive attitude that fosters trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders.

Physical Requirements:

These demands document the physical requirements of a specific job. Communicating over the telephone for eight hours.
