Senior Account Executive, Financial Services

About the Role: SM Innovations, a trusted Salesforce partner, is hiring a seasoned Senior Account Executive to drive the entire sales cycle for our Salesforce consulting services. This role focuses on collaborating with Salesforce’s account executive teams to target mid-market financial services companies in the western U.S. If you're a high achiever with experience with Salesforce, or a Salesforce partner company, and you have a track record of exceeding targets, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Salesforce Account Executives to create pipeline opportunities through targeted outreach within Financial Services, Banking & Lending, WAM, REITs, and Alt Investments.
- Engage with Subject Matter Experts to understand industry challenges and advise on how Salesforce solutions can meet those needs.
- Lead account-based sales efforts and manage high-impact business conversations with Salesforce teams.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience in every interaction.
- Build scalable, data-driven demand-generation campaigns.
- Manage opportunities in Salesforce and set client meetings using Salesforce Inbox.
- Collaborate with integrators and vendors for implementation roadmaps and clarify client needs for Phase I projects.
- Meet with nearby Salesforce teams regularly to build relationships, host Lunch & Learns, and other social activities. Travel to meet with clients, as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 7+ years in SaaS sales, with a focus on Salesforce consulting services.
- Network: Strong contacts and relationships with Salesforce teams and financial services executives.
- Expertise: Knowledge of Salesforce products, financial services industry challenges, and third-party integration tools.
- Skills: Solution-selling, contract negotiation, and client relationship management.
- Mindset: Competitive, motivated, empathetic, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills.

Compensation: Competitive base salary ($110,000 - $150,000) + top-tier commission for outstanding performance.
