Position Overview:
At RowNet, we design, integrate and manage mission-critical IT, security and communications infrastructure for mid-sized enterprises, schools and local governments across Texas. We're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with extensive connections and a proven track record in IT sales, low voltage, audio visual, or commercial real estate. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a strong network, consultative sales skills, and a solid deal closer. Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute a growth-focused sales strategy targeting multifamily and commercial real estate sectors.
2. Utilize your network to secure and close $1-3M in annual sales.
3. Build and maintain relationships with general contractors and key industry stakeholders.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company goals.
6. Mentor future sales team members as the department expands.
7. Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue goals while upselling and offering consultative solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
Experienced in one or more of these key areas: Commercial Real Estate Business Development, IT sales, Low Voltage Sales, Project Management, or a similar role.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
Skills: Strong consultative sales skills, ability to upsell, and a client-first approach.
Industry Connections: High-value connections with general contractors in commercial real estate are highly preferred.
Requirements: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for client sales calls.
