Position Summary:

Partnership opportunity to disrupt the Home Care Industry! Orah seeks an innovative and experienced certified nurse assistant (CNA) looking to generate extra income to support our private-pay home care patients in Pennsylvania. This is a part-time/ per-diem 1099 telemedicine position. CNAs must be certified in Pennsylvania and willing to visit patients in their homes. Orah is looking for someone with a warm personality who can connect with the senior population, who is tech savvy with online tools such as Zoom and Telehealth portals, and who can receive guidance for senior staff members with reliable transportation.

Our medical concierge team comprises Physicians, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN), and Registered Nurses. Orah’s team of clinicians oversees patients’ vitals and caregiver quality care. The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is supervised by one of Orah’s off-site RN/s.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintains confidentiality of patients and organization information.

· Facilitates the 60-minute Evaluation and Management (EM) visits for existing chronic conditions along with the RN in person.

· Device training

· Collaborates with RNs on Medical Support Plans for our patients.

· Supports the counseling to patients and families during telehealth visits by the registered nurse.

· Able to use current technology such as Android and iOS smart devices.

· Participates in Orah’s Quality Management activities.

· Able to troubleshoot technical issues in real-time to minimize impact to patients.

· Willingness to drive up to locations within a 5-hour radius of Pennsylvania.

Qualifications:

· Certified from an accredited CNA program.

· Reside in the State of Pennsylvania

· Two years of experience as a CNA in a family or adult gerontology setting is preferred.

· Must have basic computer skills.

· Remote patient monitoring/telehealth/telemedicine experience is a plus

· Self-starter w/ability to work independently.

· Excellent communicator with a passion for helping people.

· Tech-savvy with proficiency in Internet Navigation, Smartphone technology, and Google Suite products (Gmail, Google Calendar) is required.

ADA Requirements:

1. Normal office activities (e.g., standing, sitting, walking, keyboard and computer use, kneeling, lifting, carrying, bending, operating a copier, adding machine, talking in person and on the phone).

2. Extensive mental activities are required (i.e., communicating thoughts verbally and in writing, copying office information, and remembering short and long-term information).

3. Safe driving record with valid state liability insurance.

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
