About the Role
This is a full funnel Account Executive (AE) role. This role will be focused on the Quebec market and will be responsible for lead generation, qualification & discovery, all the way through to bringing business to close, following a clearly defined sales process, and using Salesforce CRM.
The Account Executive will receive any French language, or Quebec leads from the Marketing department that they will qualify and pursue to sale.
In addition to the leads provided by the Marketing, the Account Executive will also be expected to source opportunities through out bound targeted prospecting – cold calling – and other options for Sales generated leads. The estimated split between the two will be 40% form Marketing and the remaining 60% from the sales-initiated activities.
The AE will present the company to the client using a combination of presentation & demo, will then work through the sales process of proposal, objection handling, negotiation, and contract completion.

About You:
A Closer: You must have a track record of being able to bring sales through to close. This means being able to identify objections, handling the objections, keeping a flow of activity to bring deals to close, and finally the ability to bring opportunities across the finish line on your own.
Persistence and Resilience: Demonstrates consistent tenacity and can overcome setbacks and disappointments. You will leave a lot of voicemails, send a lot of emails, and quite often will be ignored or even hung up on. You will not win every sale.
Phone Skills: you are not afraid to pick up the phone and call people, this is a significant portion of the job, and you must be positive, outgoing, and convincing. This isn’t just about texting and email; phone calls and Zoom video meetings are the primary means of communication for the AE.
Outgoing AND A Good Listener: AEs require the unique talent of being both being outgoing and conversational AND being able to know when to be quiet and listen and take detailed notes and understand what you hear. You can’t be afraid to ask questions on top of questions to really understand people’s motivations. You also can’t be afraid to ask for the sale.
Technology Enthusiast: we sell software, we use software, it’s in everything that we do, so you need to be a fan of technology. From the way the way that we manage opportunities, to how we take notes, to how we measure success, everything uses technology and software. This means you need to be familiar with, and comfortable using software across multiple types of communication tools.

Additionally, you are:
  • Super organized – dealing with many opportunities requires a methodical and organized person to keep on top of everything. We can’t stress this enough; organization is the only way an AE can be successful.
  • Salesforce Proficiency – Salesforce is our CRM, and we use it extensively, so you must be very comfortable with Salesforce preferably, but at a minimum another equal CRM platform.
  • B2B/Software/Complex Sales Experience – your experience must be in software sales in a B2B environment. Our software has several versions and add-ons, so evaluating the needs of the prospect and then fitting those needs with our software solution is critically important.
  • A team player, there is significant interaction between Marketing, AEs and other members of the Condo Control team. Working well with different departments is essential.
  • Are comfortable in a high-volume, high-pressure, full funnel role. This role will require significant prospecting and cold calling.
  • Have strong attention to detail with the ability to capture calls/meetings with detailed notes.
  • Ability to work independently, remotely and maintain high productivity.
  • Self-motivated as you are responsible for reaching your goals!
  • Ability to think outside the box.
As a full funnel account executive, you will:
  • Manage opportunities through the sales process to close.
  • Pursue sales-initiated activities such as Tradeshows, events, requesting referrals and targeted cold calling.
  • Track activities and maintain relevant information using Salesforce CRM
  • Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer.
  • Identify the different stakeholders in the buying process, from influencer, to gate keeper, to decision maker or decision makers.
  • Execute sales presentations and software demos with prospective clients.
  • Work well alongside the SDRs who will be bringing opportunities to you. to identify opportunities
Required qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or another relevant field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Account Executive or similar high-volume sales role is required
  • Have shown they consistently achieve their performance-related goals (KPIs)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or is an asset, at least some form of CRM software is essential.
  • High level proficiency in French. Experience in the Quebec property management (syndicate management) industry would be an asset.
  • Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills.
  • Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
  • Interest in software and passionate about technology
  • Active listener, curious, autonomous, and you are ambitious.
