Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Assistant Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will assist in the production of new commercial accounts and the retention of existing accounts. Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of Producer activities.

Duties:
1. Prepares and reviews all account documentation pertinent to commercial accounts.

2. Responsible for gathering the information and risk management recommendations for the renewal of designated accounts and delivering the renewal and/or binder for designated accounts.

3. Maintains a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency and company personnel to minimize potential for errors & omissions claims.

4. Enters all pertinent information, correspondence and activities into Agency management system including but not limited to applications, change requests, attachments, claim reports and related documents.

5. Ensures accuracy of all account information and documentation, including copies of completed applications, binders, and customer files etc. with manager.

6. Informs manager/producer of any documentation issues, including missing documentation and the need for follow-up.

7. Reviews commercial account activity and issues on a scheduled basis with the manager and producer.

8. Attends scheduled planning sessions and client meetings with the designated producer and /or commercial group.

9. Assist in the marketing of new and renewal commercial business.

10. Complete new and/or renewal business submissions/applications for marketing purposes and submit them to company underwriters.

11. Assist in analyzing and evaluating new risks to obtain all needed underwriting information to best market creditable accounts.

12. Review returned quotes including coverage, limits, forms & premiums received from carriers and present the information back to the producer in a timely fashion.

13. Thoroughly understand the online quoting process with commercial carriers.

14. Maintain detailed knowledge of the commercial products and services available and those offered to clients.

15. Document correspondence, written & verbal in our agency management system

Qualifications:

  • Three years of commercial insurance experience.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Property and Casualty License is required.
  • Industry Designations Preferred
