Manufacturing Parts Sales Representative Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our client’s team in Buffalo Grove, IL. As a Manufacturing Parts Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to manufacturing companies within the trucking industry. Your primary objective will be to establish partnerships and secure contracts for manufacturing parts for our clients’ manufacturing needs.
Responsibilities
· Research and identify potential manufacturing companies within the trucking industry can manufacture parts for our client.
· Conduct thorough market analysis to understand the needs and requirements of potential clients.
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target key prospects and generate leads.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers within target companies.
· Present our company's capabilities and services effectively to potential clients, highlighting our competitive advantages.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and production, to assess feasibility and provide tailored solutions to clients' needs.
· Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable for both parties.
· Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
· Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
· Proven track record of success in sales.
· Strong understanding of the manufacturing/industrial industry, particularly in parts production for trucks.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a willingness to take initiative.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
· Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
