As a Mid-Market Account Executive at AskNicely, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new mid-market customers. You will leverage your expertise to understand customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and effectively communicate the value of AskNicely. This role requires a strategic approach to sales, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborator: You value partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, & Product in order to ensure you are always aligning AskNicely's product and mission to new customers.
  • Consultative Selling: Your customers describe your selling as consultative and human. You're genuinely curious, great at active listening, and are a natural story-teller. You demonstrate the mechanics of a value-first conversation including the steps necessary to get there: strong and ongoing discovery, a solid understanding of business pain, what outcomes they are hoping to achieve and how AskNicely is best positioned to provide differentiated value.
  • Multi-threaded Approach: You know how to identify and include multiple stakeholders with your sales process, as well as have the ability to sell through champions by aligning AskNicely to their business outcomes and personal objectives.
  • Data-driven & Analytical: You understand the value of data and take ownership in your CRM hygiene. You leverage data when making decisions and depend on it to identify areas of improvement in your skill set across your sales funnel.
  • Pipeline Skillset: You excel at generating and managing your own pipeline across three different channels: inbound, outbound, and customer expansion that are aligned to AskNicely's MidMarket ICP customers. You're able to think both strategically and creatively about how to drive desired outcomes through effective and persistent outreach.
  • Forecasting: You are strong in forecasting your business and leverage Sales Processes & Methodologies to ensure consistent forecast accuracy.
  • Grit, Optimistic, & Ownership: You continuously raise the standard across the sales team to inspire to a new level of work ethic, professionalism, respect, and integrity that others can aspire to and follow.

Requirements:

  • Sales Experience: 3+ years of experience in software sales with a history of success in a consultative sales environment.
  • Strong Track Record: Strong sales instincts and track record hitting and exceeding quota.
  • Pipeline Generation: Previous experience in prospecting, engaging and acquiring new business with Mid-Market sized companies through both Outbound & Inbound methods.
  • Genuinely Curious: Phenomenal listener and capable of developing a genuine rapport with clients while being persistent and answering questions with ease.
  • Metrics-driven: You are consistent in executing against daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives in order to consistently deliver on and/or above your quota.
  • Phenomenal Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and must be comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales Tools Experience: SDFC, Hubspot, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong preferred
  • Sales Methodology Training: You have experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or leverage consultative sales techniques; knowledge of MEDDIC, Gap Selling, Challenger methodologies, etc. is a plus
