Who We Are Looking For:
Join our growing inside sales team in our Morton office. The Technical Inside Sales Representative provides outstanding customer service in support of achieving business goals. You will have the ability to focus on your task in a fast-moving environment and will need to manage multiple streams of inputs, open balancing numerous opportunities and orders at the same time.
What You Will Do:
- Develop opportunities by preparing accurate and timely product quotations.
- Generate revenue by completing customer orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts.
- Close new orders by answering telephone, web inquires, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information.
- Fill orders by transferring orders to fulfillment and communicating expected delivery date.
- Develop accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining functional and technical features.
- Provide outstanding customer service and product support assistance as necessary.
- Collaborate with outside sales and related product sales teams to develop accounts and grow the business.
- Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
- Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Explore opportunities to add value to work processes and job responsibilities.

Your Education and Experience:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Two-year business, technical, or related degree (or 2 years minimum experience in a technical sales role)
- Technical sales experience preferred
