This role supports the Senior Manager by analyzing data to enhance business performance globally. Responsibilities include optimizing sales, monitoring key metrics, executing directives by region, and developing analytical tools. They ensure compliance with the Global team mandates, assist with developing action plans for Hyundai vehicles, and provide performance updates to senior management. The department aims to achieve revenue and market share objectives by collaborating with regional teams and providing strategic direction on go-to-market strategies and new product launches. Major Responsibilities
Support the Senior Manager in developing long-term analytics to enhance global business performance.
Provide data-driven insights to optimize sales volume, market share, and profitability.
Monitor key performance metrics and analyze competitor's performance.
Execute directives to improve model portfolio governance across regions.
Support Global COO mandates and ensure their implementation in regions.
Develop analytical tools and reporting capabilities to aid regional teams in achieving business plan objectives.
Collaborate with Subject Matter experts to analyze sales performance, inventory levels, pricing, marketing effectiveness, and competitor activity
Create reporting processes for model-level performance analysis by region.
Generate operational reports and identify opportunities for sales and profit growth.
Enhance competitive pricing and incentives reports.
Provide market insights to support product and price positioning.
Integrate historical sales and third-party data for improved forecasting.
Collaborate with regional teams on sales metrics and go-to-market strategies. Major Responsibilities (continued)
Collaborate with stakeholders including Product Planning, Strategy, Incentives, Pricing, Finance, Production, Sales Training, Sales Operations, and Business Unit Management.
Partner with regions to set annual business objectives, and provide strategic direction for achieving targets. Authority
Assist the Senior Manager and Regions/Subsidiaries with the development of business cases for product performance improvement recommendations.
Collaborate with teams to develop analytical tools and reporting capabilities that support performance improvement and target achievement plans led by the Senior Manager. Education ~ Bachelor’s degree preferred~ Master’s degree a plus Related Experience
Minimum 5 to 7 years of professional experience at a manufacturer/distributor of consumer products with direct product responsibilities.
Automotive industry experience preferred.
Extensive data analysis experience and data visualization expertise are required. Skills/Knowledge
Ability to simplify complex issues, develop a compelling point of view, and persuasively make case for change leading to action.
Strong automobile industry knowledge is preferred.
Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) (e.g. Tableau) tools is a plus. Certification
