East Bay Welding Supply, a leading provider of packaged gases and welding supplies in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a sales professional to join their team as an Outside Sales Representative in Martinez, CA.

Minimum requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 5 years of outside/B2B sales experience
- Proficient with MS Office – Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Industrial, medical or specialty gas experience
- Clean driving record
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
Essential duties/responsibilities:
- Develops new business and maintain existing business by building and sustaining strong, trusting relationships with customers and prospects
- Cold calls (onsite & phone) potential targets
- Responsible for gross profit improvement
- Plans and organizes activities and resources so that sales goals are consistently met or exceeded
- Prepares and executes Business Plan for targeted customer segments
- Secures long term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements
- Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data
- Maintain list of target accounts by generating and qualifying new business leads
- Conducts competitive intelligence
- Demonstrates products to new account customers
- Manages territory budget
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation Package: $80,000 – $120,000 annually
