Summary / Objective
The Inside Sales role is the direct link between Unistrut Service Company and our clients. This an office-based role that is responsible for growing their assigned business by servicing existing accounts and developing new business. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers, ensuring that these relationships lead to potential future sales. The person in this role will also serve as a technical liaison for customers to help provide product and system solutions for application challenges they submit. They must be self-starters that are organized, results-driven, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. Must gain access to key decision makers within a wide range of industries to understand their needs and how our product solutions and value-added services can benefit them. Additionally, they will develop and maintain appropriate contacts to understand and secure the fulfillment of customer requirements and will utilize their CRM tool and call reporting to plan and manage follow-up call activities relevant to customer development. The Inside Sales person will also perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to phone and e-mail inquiries in accord with department goals
- Provide written proposals to customers and follow-up on quotes within 24 hours via department approved cadence, which includes phone first and e-mail as second means of follow-up
- Enter sales orders and set up new customers in our ERP (Acumatica)with 100% accuracy
- Educate customers on products and services offered by USC, and how they can benefit the customer
- Maintain CRM/Hubspot records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
- Achieve consistent success for both assigned sales goals as well as assigned performance targets

Skills and Qualifications
- Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven
- Ability to troubleshoot problems
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Proficient computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Sales, or combination of related industry experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with inside or outside direct sales experience preferred
- Must pass criminal background check, drug screen and E-verify
- 5-panel drug screening
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation and drawings.
- Must be able to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer, mouse, and other business machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with some remote, work from home opportunity, with supervisor approval.
