Role Summary
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding Edgecom Energy’s market presence in Ontario, Alberta & Select US States. You will work with large energy consumers to deliver tailored solutions that enhance their energy efficiency, reduce costs, and meet sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Hunt for new business opportunities to grow the sales pipeline.
- Research, Sequence, cold call assigned ZBAs and book meetings for the AEs and AMs.
- Reach out to prospects daily by making outbound cold calls and sending emails.
- Support the sales organization by feeding the pipeline, tracking activities and researching the potential account list.
- Shorten the sales cycle by providing intel, categorizing leads and feeding the Account Executives with relevant information on accounts.
- Providing the marketing team with nurturing campaign lists and brainstorming on marketing-driven outbound activities.
- Work closely with each prospect from initial contact to qualification, in order to book quality meetings for Sr. Sales Consultants.
- Identify key decision makers and/or key influencers within an organization.
- Clearly communicate the benefits of our product and how it can help potential customers.
- Report and Maintain CRM database and record all activities according to company guidelines.
- Support the implementation & customer success teams to deliver products and services to the
- customer.
- Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas by engaging customers and maintaining a high-level of sales activities.
- Any other tasks allocated by the employer.
Requirements
- You have 1+ years of sales experience in a fast-paced environment. Startup experience is an asset.
- You are Disciplined and Determined to get promoted to an AE role as soon as possible.
- You have completed a university degree or college diploma – Preferably in business or engineering/technical field.
- You have a positive attitude, are resilient, and persevere to succeed.
- You are a go-getter. You are competitive and driven. You see the end goal and do everything to achieve it. You don’t settle for second place.
- You have an amazing work ethic.
- You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- You set personal goals and achieve them through hard work and dedication.
