Business Development, Sales, and Sales Training – NAIDA COMMUNICATIONS

Naida Communications is a leading sales and marketing consultancy dedicated to delivering integrated solutions that drive client success. We specialize in streamlining internal processes and fostering consistent business growth through tailored communication strategies. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Business Development, Sales, and Sales Training Specialist to help shape the future of our sales team and accelerate the growth of our clients' businesses. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving business development, overseeing sales initiatives, and delivering training programs to enhance the effectiveness of our sales team.

Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, networking, and cold calling.

- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects and clients, from initial contact to closing the deal.

- Conduct discovery calls and meetings to assess client needs and provide tailored sales solutions.

- Develop and deliver customized proposals, presentations, and contracts to potential clients.

- Close sales and oversee smooth transition to the sales and marketing, and customer service teams.

- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine sales strategies and optimize outreach efforts.

- Track and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) related to business development and sales activities.

Sales Training & Development:

- Lead interactive training sessions, utilizing methods such as role-playing, group discussions, and simulations to ensure real-world application of sales techniques.

- Offer one-on-one coaching and feedback to sales team members to help them improve their performance and achieve sales targets.

- Develop training materials, such as scripts, pitch decks, and sales collateral, to align with company values, goals, and brand messaging.

- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adjust based on feedback, sales performance data, and emerging trends.

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and innovations in sales techniques, technologies, and tools to enhance the effectiveness of the sales team.

General Responsibilities:

- Attend weekly Naida team meetings and contribute to team discussions on sales strategy and goals.

- Provide administrative support to the sales and marketing teams, including CRM management, meeting coordination, and follow-up.

- Assist in creating and preparing sales proposals, presentations, and client communications.

- Represent Naida Communications at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand the company's presence and network.

- Promote Naida's values and culture by setting a high standard of professionalism and teamwork.

- Participate in cross-departmental initiatives and special projects as assigned by senior leadership.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving sales and business growth.

- Experience in sales training, coaching, or mentoring, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an engaging and understandable manner.

- Expertise in developing and delivering sales training programs, including coaching on sales techniques, customer relationship building, and product knowledge.

- Proficiency with CRM software, sales enablement tools, and virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, Learning Management Systems).

- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and work both independently and collaboratively.

- Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other lead generation tools for effective prospecting and sales outreach.

- Experience in B2B sales and familiarity with various industries is an asset.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (with flexibility to accommodate occasional evening or weekend events or client meetings)

Location:

- Hybrid remote (Work-from-home options available) with occasional in-person meetings and events in Winnipeg, MB.
