We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, FP&A with a background in global aerospace distribution within the hardware sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills. This role will play a crucial part in driving financial performance, providing insightful analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the hardware sector's global aerospace distribution segment
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans and financial objectives for the hardware segment, ensuring alignment with overall company goals
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, highlighting key performance indicators and insights
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive informed decision-making and optimize business performance
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements within the hardware sector's distribution operations, driving profitability and operational excellence
  • Develop robust financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making, incorporating market trends, industry benchmarks, and internal performance metrics
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with the hardware sector's distribution activities, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and supply chain, to align financial plans and objectives with operational activities and strategic initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A function, implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies, maintaining a strong control environment and upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on global aerospace distribution or related industries
  • Strong understanding of hardware sector dynamics, including market trends, competitive landscape, and supply chain complexities
  • Proven track record of strategic financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial management systems; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of driving results, leading change, and building high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in financial analysis and reporting.


Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $175,000 Annually
