Job Description
Camden Gardens is seeking a full time Accounting Assistant who has 1-2 years experience with A/P, A/R & other administrative tasks (filing, backup phones, etc.). Must be highly competent & accurate, MS-Office & Excel skills required. Please Note: This is not a remote position and you must complete the skills test to be considered for the position.
- A/R Billing & Management
- Job Costing
- Payment portal management
- Match work orders, packing slips, & estimates to actual invoice received
- Review monthly vendor statements; request missing invoices from vendors
- Filing
- Enter, process & distribute monthly customer invoices
- Contact customers regarding past due invoices
- Maintain/update customer information in Quickbooks
- File all customer documents daily (invoices, purchase orders, contracts)
- Provide backup phone support daily, provide additional administrative support, as needed, to Sales & Operations teams (filing/copying, typing proposals)
Skills/Requirements
- 1 year experience with QuickBooks;
- Proficient with MS-Office and Excel
- Minimum 1 years of billing experience
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task with limited supervision
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong client service skills (internal and external)
Location: Georgetown
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday-Friday (no weekends)
Compensation: Hourly, depends on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
