Your main responsibilities
- Carry out technical surveys of mechanical and electrical systems and train new employees in this area
- Carry out and analyze energy efficiency assessments and propose energy-saving solutions based on the results
- Verify and validate the quality of technical reports
- Establish tools to improve existing processes for calculating savings from energy efficiency measures
- Act as a technical expert and provide support to various teams within the company on energy efficiency projects
- Analyze, design and adapt building-related installations
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout projects
- Review, approve and produce construction cost estimates
- Schedule your time so you can work on several projects simultaneously
- Monitor project schedules and budgets under your direct supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering. Master's degree in Building Sunstainability, an asset.
- Be a member of the OIQ as an Engineer.
- Have a least 5 years or experience in project management and building engineering or in a similar role.
- Fluency in French, both oral and written.
- Experience with building simulation software such as eQuest, IESVE or Energy + as well as the Microsoft office 365 suite, an sset.
