Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Identify Potential Clients: Conduct market research, attend networking events, and leverage referrals to target potential clients for transportation services.
- Build a Sales Pipeline: Develop and maintain a steady pipeline of prospective customers, ensuring continuous growth in business opportunities.
- Act as a 3PL Broker: Serve as an intermediary between shippers and carriers, facilitating efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed sales goals by closing new business deals and expanding existing customer accounts.
- Analyze Market Data: Monitor market trends and data to identify growth opportunities and areas for strategic improvement.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations, customer service, and finance departments to ensure smooth delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
Qualification:
- Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in sales, ideally within the logistics, freight, or transportation sectors.
- Expertise in 3PL Services: Solid understanding of third-party logistics (3PL) brokerage and the broader logistics industry.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional abilities in communication, negotiation, and building rapport with clients.
- Relationship Building: Proven capacity to establish and nurture long-term relationships with both clients and carriers.
- Self-Driven and Goal-Oriented: Highly motivated, focused on achieving targets, and comfortable working independently.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Generate regular sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts for review by management.
- Support Marketing Efforts: Partner with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns that align with and enhance sales objectives.
