Sales Representative
Position Summary:
As a Health Insurance Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of connecting individuals and families with essential health insurance coverage. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with prospective clients, understand their unique healthcare needs, and guide them through the process of selecting the right insurance plan. By building trust and providing expert guidance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients have access to quality healthcare services and financial protection against medical expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including referrals, networking events, and marketing campaigns. Proactively reach out to individuals and businesses to introduce our insurance products and services.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to assess their healthcare requirements, budget constraints, and coverage preferences. Listen actively to their concerns and objectives, asking probing questions to gather relevant information.
- Product Presentation: Present a range of health insurance options to clients, explaining key features, benefits, and pricing structures. Customize proposals to address specific needs and highlight value-added services, such as wellness programs or telemedicine benefits.
- Objection Handling: Address client objections and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Anticipate potential objections and proactively provide solutions or alternatives to alleviate doubts and build confidence in our offerings.
- Closing Deals: Guide clients through the enrollment process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Use persuasive selling techniques to overcome resistance and secure commitment to purchase insurance coverage.
- Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, assistance, and personalized service. Stay in touch with clients regularly to review their coverage, address any changes in circumstances, and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, healthcare reform initiatives, and changes in insurance policies and regulations. Share relevant insights and updates with clients to help them stay informed and make informed decisions about their coverage.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $80,500.00 - $125,700.00 per year
