Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review customer purchase orders and compare the information to the ERP system.
  • Responsible for reviewing all customer purchase orders carefully and accurately for confirmation into the company ERP system.
  • Regularly access customer portals to acquire latest revisions of documents as stated on customer purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update electronic work instructions (Q clause).
  • Notify in writing any discrepancies found when reviewing the purchase order for corrections and/or additional information needed from the customer.
  • Work closely with the CSS’s and other sales staff to provide support as needed.
  • Correct and modify inaccurate files or records into various databases.
  • Cross train into other areas within the department.
  • Embrace and promote the company’s culture beliefs as a means to achieve the Key Results.

Skills (To deliver the best customer experience possible, Purchase Order Review Clerk must have the following critical skills):
  • The result of this skill is trust and customer growth. It is a skill that tests your ability to find out the primary issues customers have. Conflict Resolution.
  • This is especially useful when other departments at APP do not set reasonable expectations beforehand. Customers are unpredictable. Foresight and Expectations Management.
  • A Purchase Order Review Clerk needs to listen and understand. Since your main role is to manage customers and provide solutions to problems, sometimes before they even arise, listening is key. Listening and Understanding.
  • Sound knowledge of Enterprise/Manufacturing Systems (Previous knowledge of IFS is a plus). Efficient Use of IT tools.
  • Purchase Order Review Clerks must show strength, willingness and be ready to handle customer complaints as well as the responsibilities that follow. This is a winning attitude toward customer success. Tenacity
  • You must remain professional at all times.
Compensation: $20.00 - $23.73 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
