Interstate is seeking a Business Development Manager (International Cargo & Freight) to join our team! This individual will be responsible for selling our services globally (storage, relocation, logistics, etc.) to commercial clientele, expanding our business in the market. We are looking for someone to develop a strong pipeline of leads in the global market for freight and cargo services who can then present our services and close opportunities.

Position includes a base salary and commission. Schedule is Mon-Fri during daytime hours; may include weekday evenings and some weekends.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a minimum of four (4) plus years of experience in B2B/B2G sales as an individual contributor.
Candidates must have a proven track record in business development within the freight and cargo industry.
Must have a strong understanding of international shipping, customs procedures, and supply chain logistics.
Must be prepared to meet company targets for business unit growth, retention, and profitability.
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
Must be a go-getter, entrepreneurial, and aggressive in sales.
