Your Key responsibilities
Over the past two years, Disruptive Technologies has developed a commercial sales operation in the Americas that has landed milestone deals with Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and everything in between. We are now building an inside sales capability to accelerate the sales team’s success.
We are looking for an energetic, self-starter to join our sales team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying new leads. We are looking for individuals who are beginning their sales career and want to join a team that has quick promotion potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead Generation: Prospect new clients through research, outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach. High volume of outbound cold calls expected.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads by understanding their business needs, challenges, and potential fit with our solutions.
- CRM Management: Accurately track all activities, interactions, and progress in our CRM system HubSpot.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with Account Executives and the sales team to transition qualified leads and ensure smooth handoff for demos or meetings.
- Maintain KPIs: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly outreach and lead generation goals.
- Other Opportunities as Needed: DT is young and scrappy and we all wear many hats. You will be asked to assist on other fronts, including joining sales calls, conferences, installs, and more.
Your skills & experience
You have experience working with convenience stores, grocery stores or restaurants, including sales, facilities, or as an associate. Experience with sensing solutions, SaaS, or/or start-ups, a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development (internships or entry-level experience is a plus).
- Previous experience with sales prospecting making 50+ outbound calls per day, a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow within a sales career.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- A positive, resilient attitude with a passion for helping customers.
