Do you have a love for animals and are passionate about their well being? This role is to assist the Store Manager and Assistant manager in keeping the store running smoothly and looking sharp, while providing excellent service and in-depth product knowledge to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Educate and assist customers on products & solutions for their pets
- Ensure racks are fully stocked
- Effectively utilize stores POS system
- Clean store shelves and floors when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role.
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Experienced in utilizing retail point of sale (POS) software systems.
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with customers and handling quality issues when necessary
- Flexibility to work schedule
- Strong creativity & critical thinking skills
- A passion for dogs, cats and their health!

- Education: High school diploma minimum
- Experience: 1-2 years of customer service/retail required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
