Sales Channel Manager — Knowledgeable Team, Dynamic Markets
Introduction
Our sales channel manager steps into a newly-created role intended to manage the sales and marketing relationship between Olsträd and a key automation partner that provides a high degree of marketing and sales support. The sales support includes leads as well as technical solutions tailored to solve specific automation challenges. The marketing support includes presentations and other collateral as well as white papers based on solutions jointly developed between the partners.
While lead generation occurs at the partner level, this position also includes the responsibility to generate additional leads outside the specific partner channel. Negotiate with purchasing and finance counterparts and win compromises. Use our industry expertise to help people overcome difficult situations.
Outyear growth opportunities for the successful candidate include the potential to take a larger marketing role, a sales management role and other potential leadership roles (dependent on company growth).

Qualifications
· Engineering or other technical degree (Associate’s degree or above)
· Experience working as a sales representative
· Excellent written & verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
Benefits & Perks
Work hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. We are offering a full-time salaried position in the range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year, with commission paid on qualifying sales. We’re located in Kent, Ohio — a twenty- to thirty-minute commute from the Akron area. Kent is a college town offering a wealth of remarkable landmarks and businesses. Our building is situated between two sets of operating train tracks, and the Cuyahoga river is a short walk away, where seasonal kayaking is extremely popular.
