Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our newly established Business Development department. This role will be essential in generating leads through cold calling, market research, and marketing campaign initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and sales, demonstrating a proactive approach to lead generation. This role will also be a key part of developing marketing omnichannel marketing campaigns and will have a heavy focus on researching industries and businesses that fall into our target customer profile.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Conduct cold calls to potential clients to identify and qualify leads for our rental equipment and service offerings.
- Customer Engagement: Connect with customers to build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring a positive experience and understanding of their needs.
- Market Research: Perform research to identify new business opportunities and target markets.
- Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the team to design and implement effective marketing campaigns aimed at generating interest in our services and equipment rentals.
- Outreach Efforts: Utilize various outreach methods, including email and social media, to connect with potential clients and promote our offerings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to transfer qualified leads and support them in the sales process.
- Performance Tracking: Meet established KPIs and report on lead generation activities, sales funnel, and pipeline status.
- Reporting: Track and report on campaign performance and market insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong interest in marketing and sales, with a basic understanding of lead generation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using CRM software, preferably Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, outlook).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility in approach.
