We are looking for a young, driven, and ambitious individual to help expand our Miami location’s footprint and grow our client base.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a Business Development Manager who is passionate about our mission and product. This person will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships, and developing strategic partnerships that align with Unarthodox’s growth goals. This role is ideal for a well-connected go-getter with a deep love for art and unique experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Qualification: Actively seek out new leads through networking, partnerships, and events, identifying and qualifying potential clients who align with our offerings.
- Negotiation and Contracts: Lead contract negotiations with clients and partners, ensuring agreements are mutually beneficial and reflect our commitment to quality and creativity.
- Client Retention and Upselling: Develop strategies to retain existing clients and explore upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand our relationships with them.
- Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets for business development initiatives, tracking spending and ROI to ensure the effective use of resources.
- Representation and Networking: Represent Unarthodox at industry events, conferences, and public forums to build our brand’s reputation and presence in Miami’s creative community.
- Strategic Planning: Research new markets and business opportunities, creating and executing strategic plans that will drive our growth and align with our values.
- Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed business objectives.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Create revenue forecasts, monitor business development activities, and report on outcomes to ensure alignment with company goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, event management, hospitality, and corporate event planning.
- Experience working with sales teams to drive business goals and coordinate initiatives.
- Well-connected in Miami’s business and creative communities, with a network of contacts who can aid in expanding Unarthodox’s reach.
- Exceptional negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop actionable plans.
- Passionate about immersive art experiences and Unarthodox’s mission to foster creativity and connection.
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes pride in driving growth.
