Job Description

Seeking a candidate for Inside Sales for an excellent career opportunity with an industry leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with a small group of customers.
  • Managing orders throughout the entire sales cycle. Specific duties include utilizing the CRM system to support the group’s sales strategy, developing inquiries, tracking inquiries to convert inquiries into orders, sourcing material, proposing pricing, arranging transportation, organizing logistics and delivery schedules and supplying details for timely billing.
  • In alignment with the sales strategy, working with the Outside Sales Representatives and the Regional Manager to determine the optimum mix of sales volume, gross profit and market share in conjunction with the strategy for the group.
  • Handling changes from the customer and the internal/external communication required to execute and document said changes.
  • Assisting the Regional Manager or an Outside Sales Representative on bids, orders, and projects, as requested.
  • Updating the sales team on DOT bidding schedules and managing project funnel tools such as Dodge, BidX, and CMD.
  • Up to 35% travel as needed.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

2. 3 or more years of Inside Sales experience.

3. 1 or more years of Construction Industry or Related experience preferred.
